Persevere with healthy lifestyle for PCOS.... it's worth it
by Lea
I am a 30yr old woman who made important lifestyle changes in support of wellness and beating PCOS in 2004.
Since following the Insulin Resistance diet, ENJOYING exercise and ADORING being well, I have lost 25lbs, have regular periods ON MY OWN (no pill), I don't look puffy and tired all the time, I have a libido, and I have energy.
Giving up the cookies, the processed food and the trash that only is satisfying for five seconds has increased my enjoyment of life infinitely ( Please ladies just do it or learn to do it in a healthy way).
Finding exercise that is satisfying physically, emotionally and imaginatively is SO important. Learning what foods, chemicals, environments and people/influences are good or bad for you is vital.
I have never used a conventional drug for PCOS besides going on the pill and I would say so far I'm doing very well. So I suppose I'll just keep on trucking with information from other women sharing to build on those blocks,
I'll just persevere if you all will too!
Blessings,
Léa
