PCOS Success Stories Make Me Feel Confident

by Chitra
(USA)

Hi to all,

First of all I would like to thank all of you to write all your success stories. I am new to this site, but i am very happy to read all your stories. It makes me confident.

I had 3 miscarriages and I was diagnosed that I have PCOS. But I have regular periods, little acne and normal weight.

I have low thyroid (hypothyroidism). I am in Glucophage (Metformin)and multivitamin and baby aspirin. I am following the diet for diabetes also. I lost 10 lbs.

For the past two months we have been trying but I did not conceive, so I was very much depressed that my husband could not console me.

But after reading this site I am very much confident that one fine day I will write my success story soon with my healthy baby.

Please you all wish me that I should give birth to a healthy baby. Thank you

Optimal Thyroid Necessary for Pregnancy
by: PCOS site editor

You probably won't be able to become pregnant and have a successful pregnancy until you improve your thyroid function. There are many possible causes of thyroid hormone dysfunction. You could have an autoimmune condition called Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an inflammation of the thyroid gland.

Or possibly you might have Wilson's Syndrome.

And, even if you’re your doctor says your thyroid is "normal", that does not mean your thyroid hormones are optimal. A good way to check this out is to take your body temperature every morning upon waking up, for one month. If your body temperature is on the low side of normal, you probably still have a problem with thyroid hormones.

Why are you taking baby aspirin? If you're trying to thin the blood or reduce inflammation, fish oil concentrate is a much better choice.
