No PCOS Success Story But a Sense of HOPE

Hello, I'd rather not disclose my name but after trying to search the internet to find out what on earth could be causing my abnormal menstruations, body hair etc I was led to a website about PCOS.

I am a 20 yr old nursing student and I never thought I'd be diagnosed with anything, I thought I'd be the one helping.

Honestly since I started my abnormal menses I would try to tell my doctors but I felt as if they brushed me off.

And EVERYONE of them wanted to just put me on birth control, which I feel catalyzed my weight gain.

I went online today and after hearing the side effects of PCOS and negative possible outcomes I freaked out. I was scared and started crying.

But after a nice relaxing shower I decided to look for more information and I've ran across this site.

After hearing these success stories I really feel as if I have more hope and will not be as scared as I was moments ago.

I was SO worried that in the future I wouldn't be able to have kids.

I personally want to thank all of you ladies for sharing your stories. It really helped me and I will set up an appointment monday with an end.
