Exercise Plateau - from Gemma

Hello Noelle

Its great to hear from you.

What I have experienced is when you reach the plateau try changing your training a little bit. It really is great to hear that you have embraced yoga and pilates as these are really fun ways of getting into the fitness lifestyle.

I would for a month to 6 weeks try doing something totally different. Maybe try jogging for 30 minutes 3 times a week, or skipping for 20 minutes 3 times a week. As for your belly fat, it is the cardiovascular exercising that will help shift that. Raising your pulse rate will burn off your fat.

My book has a plan in there that you can conduct at home and one for the gym if you are interested in that.

Always try and change your training every 6 or so weeks that way your body will respond much better :)
